hello ... sorry for not updating for about 2 weeks it has been two very busy week for me in taiwan ... last week miss ang and her friend miss wong came to taiwan to tour hahahha so i was their tour guide .... not really la only follow them around for some fun .... it was miss ang 4th trip and miss wong 2nd trip so they know taiwan very well already la ...

day 1 we went to 九份 i took the whole day off so we had lots of time ... hahaha both trying to take photos of the nice view

2nd time up 九份 still have to take the same shot .. hahha for fun

2nd stop was 淡水and we had light food along the way ... hhahah my first time trying this too ..

it was time for sunset .. so we took a boat ride to the 淡水漁人碼頭

Day 2 we went to watch a show at the taiwan national theater

WHAT a friday !!!! IN OIAP

hello people ... is Friday again the last day of the week ... hahhaha i hope u are all enjoying yourself this Friday .... AS for me i had a very fulfilling Friday ... is the BEST FRIday i had in my Whole OIAP stay till today hahhaha... I really enjoy it and i am here to share my joy with you ....

The day started very early at 8.30 in my lab ... i was going to follow my prof and 2 seniors to a Plant visit and collection of sample water for research use in my lab ... NOT my research sadly hahahha... so it was a 1 hr ride from school to a semi con plant in Tao Yuan outside of Taipei ...
when we reach a rep from the plant welcomed us ... or rather my prof hahahah this were the container used to collect the water ...

7 of them 20 L each means 140 kg ... of weight ... hahha

both my seniors filling up the water as i took photo hahhah and relag at the side... hahaha

than we met up with the dep manger on the plant .... two of my senior looking good ...

me ... it was cold but the sun was very bright making it a very clear and nice day ..

Dinner tonight was with my lab mates... cause prof was thinking it would be nice to have a dinner together so that we will be more like a family !!! funny thing is we have people with all types of believes... some only take halal food , some don't take beef , 1 full veg meal etc etc ... BUT because prof call for it we all seat on the same table and eat ... like a family ...( not uncommon in the lab to eat together )

Anyway i feel is these things that will leave a mark on my OIAP trip that i will remb for long time ... It was not the food , not the beer , not the place BUT the people hahhahaha ...

Last weekend of Nov

Hello people ... it was the last weekend of Nov and the 4th mth that we have been in Taiwan so we when for dinner at a nice hot pot place again hhahah my second in a week ... but the winner is my bro mk having his 4th in a week ... hahahha dont know how his tummy took it ....

Anyway is getting cold (15 and below) so it was very nice to have hot pot for dinner to keep our self nice and warm hahhaha This the shop about 15 min walk from sch we had to wait for about 1 hr to get in ...

as u can see the strongest is mk braving the cold with out any jacket ... Lj looking down asking when can be get in to EAT !!!! hahhaha

here come the food ... is EAT ALL U CAL so as Singaporean we started to order like no tml !!!!

Dinner with lab seniors

hello people.... is cold in taiwan now ab 15 C to 20 C so have to wear more this few days ... anyway life is very normal here going to lab everyday waiting for things to happen tt about all. Anyway mk and me got back our common test papers ... not too bad i would say ... So as a treat for ourself cum my seniors invited us we went for a nice hot pot dinner with them.

It all started with one of my senior saying that it is turning cold and it will be nice to have a 麻辣 hot pot dinner together ... so they invited me and mk along hahahha ...

HELLO ... sorry for not updating my blog sooner ... the reason was that i was busy getting ready for my common test and is over .... thanks God ....

Anyway some nice things to show you people !!! .... HAHAHA is another OIAP outing with my lab mates and my environment classmates ... LOL , where got ppl go OIAP got common test one ???? hahhahaha me lo sian la ... still have to study for the common test .... Stress !!!!

Still remb that day of PCON exam i told yasmin can you smell the freedom after this paper no more exam, test from now on.....

WRONG !!! still have in OIAP .... 2 some more .... wat to do study lo ..... hahahhaha

Anyway this weekend sian la study study .... half way into OIAP really not what i thought it was ... till now still no hands on to do LOL .... waiting ... coming soon .... hahhahah i think ..

But never mind i will do my best since come here already wat so dont waste time .... At least go back can say i have no regret coming to OIAP ....

My trip to Tai zhong

Hello ... at last we went out of tai pei to tai zhong for a weekend trip . To see the other parts of taiwan since we are already here rit ? So 5 of us went on our own .....

It was only at 2 days 1 nit stay so we did not do to many places ..... At the start all of us walking to the mrt station to catch our ride

2nd kind of transportation the rain to the bus station

3RD kind of transportation Bus to tai zhong 3 hr from tai pei ... so use the time to sleep ... hahaha

it was raining on the freeway ...

this was how the bus looks like $20 for round trip not too bad la

ok the 1st thing we did was to find a hotel to stay ... so we when to the nearest hotel only $15 per person per nit cheap cheap

Look at them enjoying real BED for the 1st time in 2 long mth ...

after putting down our bags we when shopping ......

later in the nit we went to the largest nit market in tai zhong ... we started at 8 pm

Hello ... today i went for a workshop with some of the people in my lab ... It was kind of like an outing for me to get out of lab and spend sometime with the people in my lab to know them better and to talk to them more and make friends with them

The workshop was held in a waste water treatment plant near my school so we walked for ab 20 min to reach the plant. It was a great 20 mins , talking to my 学姐 and the other overseas student in my lab ... we found out that we had much in common lol .... (i think). When we reach the plant we met up with one of my 学长 and he brought us in ...

Some direction for us .... This is the front of the plant ... the plant is the oldest around ...

ok photo time how can we forget ab taking photo ... Starting from the left the guy in green (colour blind ) is Devarly , moving up is Citra ,亨涵 Ariel ,Ervin, 明勳 Barry. This are some of the people in my lab very nice people to work with ....

ok time to start the workshop .... it was lead by a prof from Seoul uni Korea .. he is like some big shot ba .... hahhaha

ok , them taking photo again... the nice part of the people in lab is that even when my senior do have hard time communicating with the overseas friends (both side la ) they still make the effort ... even if is using their hand to pointing or calling me to translate ... they are very friendly

o this the prof and the topic (not so important )

ASking for direction here see how everyone is involved trying to find the way ... funny rit ?? i was asking one of the overseas student if they understand what the lady was asking .... and the ans was "hmmm , hmm i think is that way" ... lol so cute la ..

on the way back to school my two senior were fully engage in trying to learn some Malay language from the PRO ... hahhaa ...

we had a drink on the way back and it was called 青蛙撞奶。。。so i translate it as the "frog bang the milk " for fun ... THe next thing, i saw was my 学姐 turn around and look me in the eyes and say 你不要乱说！！！LOL i was joking .... hahhah anyway after i explain to her that i was joking than she say "ooooooooooooo"

It was a nice day going out with them so fun la i wan more of chances .... hahhaha see how la anyway not i control also ...

Hello people ... sorry for not updating my blog regularly cause life has been very normal for the weekdays .... sleep eat work eat sleep... tt all ... so the only happening time is WEEKEND ... and this was how i spend my 8th weekend in taiwan !!!

ok lets start with sunday ... 26/10 ...

afternoon i was in church .... than

we went to HWAHSI 華西街觀光夜市nit market in taipei ..This is how it looked from the front ... looks good ?There were lots of people but we all agree that is was more a tourist attraction than a nit market because the shops were to organise and the streets were to0 wide ... lol we love gong guan nit market more !!!! lol dinner was at this shop near the end of the 2nd nit market street ...

looks good rit .... it was not too bad ...

the boss here going to japan next week .... not bad rit start a shop in the nit market also can go tour to japan for 6 days ....

Sat 25/10 yang ming shan 杨明山this is the highest bus stop in the whole of taipei on the 杨明山
walk walk ... we cover for ab 3 km of road in 3 hour ...

the whole park is as big as half of singapore .... the other 山s around !!!1

At the end we stop for a great view of the sunset ...

This weekend was really great, spend my time well going to places eating and looking around ...

I have been in taiwan for ab close to 2 mth ,i can say that i am used to my life here however i still miss singapore the people and the things ....

Hello people ... is National day of taiwan 10/10 hahahah not too much different from singapore national day .... hmmm is hoilday for us tt means time to go out to enjoy ... This time is out of taipei city. hmm look at the roads they have flags too ...

Dinner today was very different from the normal food we always eat in taipei hahahah. We when for steamboat dinner first full seat down meal . The best thing about it is we did not plan for this we just followed the duty officer for the day Lj . HAHAHa and we ended up there. It cost us ab 20 singapore for the nice dinner. sam looking tired we waited for ab 1 hr b4 we can enter the place.

Hello ppl after one whole week of work , hmmm almost hahahaha. Is it time to enjoy and teat our self to well earn rest and relax. I think this is the best part of coming overseas to walk around and see see look look.... we 绕河 nit market to eat with senior 苏 he was nice to bring us there and told us stories of this past relationships over there . Best of all we took train to go there hahahah the real train ... at the station waiting for the train to come

I have been in taiwan for about one mth and 4 days now. Life here is very different from the life in singapore i have learn many lessons here. However the most important lesson i feel is not to take things in my life for granted like family and friends. Like wat one of my friend here said to me this is a challenge we all will change at the end.

Hello people ... today i had lesson from 4.30 pm to 6.20 pm and here in Taiwan it becomes dark at about 6pm ... so it seem that i had lesson into the nit and i feel its time to sleep... hahahha

I like to sleep .... want to sleep ... but a bit not worth to come so far to sleep and miss home hahaha... From the class room can see 101 .... ya ya i say many times already hahahhaha

My first day of class !!!

Hello people today is the first day of school over here for me ... sign up for two classes with mk my brother to aid us in the research project that we will be doing in the environmental lab ... anyway here are some picture for you to see see ...

hello people it has been long since i step on ground of Singapore hahahha not too long la ab 18 days only ... but i still miss my county ,my family and friends. So after 18 days is time to count the blessing i have taken for granted at home ...

Oversea in Taiwan i have to

1. Make my small and hard bed
2. Wash my own clothes and make them dry in time
3.Keep my living area safe and clean
4.Change my own table light
5.Bring the key out and lock the room
6.Pray that my Internet stay connect in the room
7. Find my own teacher
8.Plan my own project
9.Remb where i kept my things and money hahhaha
10. Take my own water 200 m a way from my room
11. Share the toilet with 100+ ppl 50 m a way
12.Pay for the air con

IF i was at home i could do the following ...

1. Talk on the phone till i drop
2.Off the light when I wan to sleep
3.On the air con like no body biz
4. Sleep on that soft and large bed
5.Use my own toilet with the rit temp i wan
6.wear wat i wan to wear hahahha
7. Have my smell to the room
8. Time that i can relax on my own
9. watch TV and change channel like drink water like tt
10. have the fridge open and close till that door drop out...
11. wake up wat time i wan to wake up ...
12 Play with FAITH !!!!!!! let her seat on my back as i sleep on her bed ....( i tok to her today haha)

Hello to you once again ... is Monday today life is as slow as it was last week .... So i went for my first nit run in Taiwan around my uni and the uni next to mine. It really feels different to run here the cool air and the many pairs of eyes looking at you hahahhaa. I think only my friend sam and me were the two person run around keeping fit.

Have been reading some of my friends blogs and come out with this Conclusion the best (as in happy )time in a relationship is in the wooing state.. Because love pushes the relationship than after that 3 to 6 mth is a different case. The two person in the relation have to start to make the effort to maintain the relationship... Both have to know why they are in the relationship ... (this is my own conclusion maybe different for others)

hEllo ... is Sunday today my 2nd Sunday in Taiwan week 2 ... Life was good for the last week. I went to church today in the morning was nice to find a church similar to Faith B-P . I woke up ab 8.15am and reach church at ab 9 am. The service ended at ab 1050 and i went back to meet the rest for lunch at Ntu... The uni next to mine..

Hello to all , today was a slow day for me without much aim or things to do ... I think it will be like this till the end of the week. When to find my 老师 to hand in my resume but he was not in office the whole day or at least the 3 time i went to find him. So too bad have to go down tml morning again. hello people did not do much today was a slack day. The main aim of the whole day was to find 老师 that will take me and mk in as research asst student. And guess what we only could get him at 9.30 pm and he just came to work. 学长 told us that he is very busy not did not know he was so very busy... Anyway i think and hope that i will enter the 环境 lab tml will know.

Ok enough of words lets see the place i stay in . Here in 台科大 there are three main 学生宿舍 the 1 i staying in is 第3学生宿舍. Looks like it is the most cui one ..

Today is the 1st day at work.. started with some admin things than breakfast at 1115 so i think skipping lunch food in school is cheap and good hahah compare with those outside i think. The rice goes by weight here ab $0.75 (SIN) per 100g so not too bad for me ...

sorry ppl i have not been blogging for a long long ... So sorry have been busy with FYP and church parent's nit. The parent's nit was today and it when smoothly thank God. With ab 45 parents that turn out and the play we presented went very well. Thanks to all the actors and actress who gave their 110% in the play.

One more thing Carrina is back in Singapore after 3.5 mth.

Thanks to all actors and actress for their hard work during the parent nit.

Chocolate given by the cast and crew to Wendy and me to thank us for our work as producer for the parent's nit play . Hahaha i received my first flower given by the cast and crew of parents nit play. the programme sheet and the sun flower given to me .ok this is for another view...

Thank God Yf parent nit went smoothly and thanks to all the crew and cast and my co producer Wendy for putting in 110 % into the play to bring the message across to all the parents that came.

Two days at the airport

hello ppl how are you ?? still doing fine in school or in work ?? As for me of the 48 hr i had yesterday and today i spend around 10 hr at the Singapore airport. Yes i was at the airport for 2 day in a row hahha it really made me want to go overseas.. The reason for this is because today YF was at the airport and i had to do some planning yesterday... I walk all 4 terminal on both days making me very tired. But i think it was worth it as most YFers found it fun to play the game. The best part was that i saw the A380 at T3 today was so cool man ... cant wait to take it someday ... someday...

sorry ppl i have not been updating this few days. I had been busy with my school work and the OIAP (oversea industrial attachment programme )decision. Finally after 3 days of thinking and praying and asking i came out with a ans. I will be going to Taiwan for 6 mth , to an university call NTUST (national Taiwan university of sci and tech) from sept till next year feb. I was a bit sad cause i am not going to NTU the no 1 university in Taiwan but no matter wat it will be a good experience to go there. So thanks to all the ppl i have talk to and help me in my decision making.

Monday was my presentation for WISP on physical appearance so we tried to make ur presentation more fun and lively we decided to have every1 in the gp to wear a different style of the current trend in the society. here are some picture so enjoy.

Mid week Crisis

Is wed today and i am having a mid week crisis with so many things to do i am really feeling the pressure coming onto me. I guess this is what they say ab the final year in poly with the many reports and project life is starting to become colourless. However thank God there are still friends around to support and encourage as i run this race.

i believe that humans need hopes something to look forward to so that in this kind of crisis at least we and say is going to be over soon and we can enjoy after that as for me .... here are my hopes for this week

1. Friday dinner with family

30/4/08 - is the day b4 MAY DAY sorry no pic for this .. went to nit class that was very good till 9 ++ than went home to tok to carinna after tt went off to khoon house to sleep over .

woke up to watch the match of Liverpool vs Chelsea ... ended at ab 0530

woke up to a nice breakfast perpare by khoon sister ...... and father i think ...

Had lunch with jy at her work place it was very nice sorry no pic but it was cheap (discounted )and good.

1330 hr

met up with khoon again to go and play soccer ... at last some pics

Sorry did not update ytd cause was having Monday Blues hahaha ... not really la as i was telling my friend Mund i dont not have anything to update. So sorry to those loyal readers hahaha ( i THINK TOO MUCH ).

So much for that .... it Tue today and i end school at 2pm so as i was going home on the bus i thought let me cook DINNER tonight for my family. And that was wat i did the whole afternoon .. here is the pic timeline again ... enjoy

Moving on was the beef main course this after i marinade b4 keeping at 2deg for 2hr .....

OK is time to go into the oven to be cook for 20 min for a 75% cook back pepper beef ..........

This is the end product of the beef ......... 2 layer each on the plate enjoy ...... hahaha OK for dessert bake banana with ice cream ............ this is the b4 baking hahahha

Is Friday today and my lessons end at 11 am so happy . So my friends suggest that we go to SG for Pig organ soup , after looking at the past post on it on this theysaytheysaw .blog hahaha.

Has been busy this few days due to the final year Project therefore nv update the blog. The FYP is really very time demanding doing ,, redoing and re redoing. today the jam at amk on 74 was really bad as per lim he was at the spot in the bus for 30 min. For me it took 1hr 30 min to reach school from amk bus stop normally it only take max 1 hr.

Waiting ... is a good word to use to sum my day up. It all started with the long wait for 74 at amk bus stop , followed by waiting for my IS lectures to start , so on ..... and best of all i had this crazy idea to take 852 and change to 86 at amk . So i had to wait for 20 min for 852 at the bus stop looking in to the space counting the number 74 that pass by ahhhh.... Was a long waiting day for me and i dont like tt ...

There was this person by the name of Reggie (i dont know him ) that tok to me as i was waiting ...... hahhahah helping me to kill time . Anyway he was part of an organisation call youth for Christ he sound like a year 1 but i really admire his bravely to go around alone and tok to ppl like me who was not tt friendly ... ya something that i could learn ...

That ab all for my day not a good start but tml will be better ....

today was a long day for me started off with church than choir than home work than grandmother house than online meeting. Wow so many things happened today and i am so tried now !!! Can i have my good old days Sunday back ..... i guess not so soon

So fast is sat again ..... Is done finally... the grouping for my FYP. Had a long meeting today after school and finally it is all done . I guess the real challenge only start now after the groups are set. PED is really hard after DR sriva gave her lecture i was as loss as she began. I need more time to do read up man. Saw mr wong again .... hahaha will see him everyday . OK so much for school .. more food pic today hahahha.When to Jones with my dad and mum after school hahhaha...........
